Separation of filling materials in artificial grass
Green Recycling receives and recycles used artificial grass,
both the "grass" itself (the plastic mat), sand, plastic granules and organic residues.
The filling materials are semi-moist and the sand represents a large volume, which is a challenge for effective separation of the various components.
ReSiTec has extensive industrial experience with the separation of various materials and good knowledge of the necessary processing equipment. They were therefore able to help Green Recycling improve the separation process and qualify the materials with the aim of as much reuse as possible.
By using the Catapult Center, the company received a recommendation for a process solution and equipment for a full-scale production.
